President Bola Tinubu was not handed Nigeria in its best socioeconomic shape, and he is aware of this fact; possibly, this has informed some of the moves he has made during the previous 13 days since he formally inherited the reigns of the country’s government.
It is said that the head of the person who wears the crown is the most uneasy, and it is true that the first few days have not been easy for the new president. This is especially true considering that he has had to dive headfirst into the subsidy labyrinth even as his lawyers continue to fight election petitions at the tribunal.
There are many people who believe that Tinubu has demonstrated some admirable qualities within these very early days in office. As a result, we sought to review some moves that the president has made within this short period of time under review, looking at the impact that some of the steps taken have had, as well as the benefits that they have brought to the people of Nigeria.
Ex-President Obasanjo Reviews Nigerian Economy, Population Boom Ahead Of 2050

Olusegun Obasanjo, a former president of Nigeria, stated on Saturday that the greatest approach to pull Nigerians out of abject poverty is to turn the country’s expanding population into an asset for the country.
Obasanjo made the observation that Nigeria will very certainly become the third largest country by the year 2050 with a population of over 450 million people. He went on to say that such a massive population should be used as an asset rather than a problem.
This was something that he spoke during the introduction of the Gateway chapter of Business Network International (BNI) in Abeokuta, which took place in the state of Ogun. His keynote address was titled “Importance of Network in Life and Business.”

Obasanjo is quoted as saying, “We lay emphasis on our natural resources, and when we talk of our natural resources, we are talking of mine, oil and gas, gold, and whatever else we can find in the wilderness or underneath the ground.” However, I believe that the human population is our most valuable natural resource.
It is estimated that by the year 2050, our country will have a population of more than 450 million people, making it the third largest in the world. Only China and India will have larger populations than the United States in the future. That has the potential to both be an asset and a burden.
Can Akpabio Sustain The Momentum For Senate President Contest?
Even Godswill Akpabio’s most ardent detractors cannot deny the reality that the race for president of Nigeria’s 10th Senate, which will take place on Tuesday, is centered on the man who once served as governor of Akwa Ibom State. The inauguration of the new Senate is slated for Tuesday. The moniker of the “uncommon transformer” is a factor that is there regardless of whether one is in the camp of those who are rooting for his enthronement or in the circle of those who are plotting his rejection.
People who are predisposed to praise-singing and sycophantic embellishment prefix or describe Akpabio’s name with appellations such as “incoming Senate President,” “10th Senate President-Elect,” “Senate President-Elect,” “Senate Presidential Hopeful,” and “Incoming Uncommon Senate President,” amongst other titles of adulation. Akpabio’s name is presumptuously prefixed or described with appellations such as these.
While Akpabio, with the backing of his teeming supporters, is furiously competing to earn the number-three slot, his admirers and those desiring political patronage are fervently jostling one another to outwit one another over who identifies more with his goal to become president of the Senate. People who belong to this category can be found in virtually every region of the country. Individuals with no name recognition work together with others of like mind to form groups through which their organization’s flag for Akpabio’s quest to become president of the Senate will fly. These groups are then supported by their respective organizations.
