“Hilda, you caused all this” – Reaction as another Chef begins 200-hours Cook-a-thon

The recordings of a Nigerian chef beginning a 200-hour cook-a-thon in an attempt to break the world record for the longest cooking period have elicited a variety of responses from internet users, including disgust and skepticism.

Chef Lata Tondon of India is the current holder of the record for the longest amount of time spent continually cooking, having done so for more than 86 hours. On the other hand, a Nigerian chef by the name of Hilda Baci recently broke this record by cooking for a total of 100 hours straight.

In spite of the fact that the Guinness World Record organization has not yet officially acknowledged Hilda Baci’s accomplishment, other Nigerian chefs have already begun striving to break the record set by her. The Nigerian culinary world is keeping a close eye on these endeavors and patiently awaiting official confirmation of any new records that may be set.
