Christiana Nkemdilim Adelana is an actress, producer, model, and entrepreneur working in Nigeria’s entertainment industry under the stage name Tana Adelana. Tana Adelana is her stage name and the one by which she is most well-recognized. In the CITY People’s Movie competition, Awarin ds 201, she won the award for Best Supporting Actress. She won the title for Air Personality of the Year (TV) at the Future Awards in 2011 and at the Grind Awards in 2005. She comes from a long line of Igbo people and uses the ancestral surname of Egbo.

The Beginnings

Tana Adelana was born in the 1980s into a regal, Catholic family with a strong reputation for tradition. The tenth and youngest of nine kids. She started out at Treasure Land Nursery and Primary School in Surulere and continued her education at St. Francis Catholic Secondary School in Idimu, Lagos for her secondary school years. She has Enugu State’s Nkanu East Local Government Area to thank for her birth. Her father had just died, and she was shocked by what happened during the funeral.

Education

Tana attended the University of Lagos in Nigeria to get her Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning. During those four years, she earned her degree. After that, they graduated from the London Makeup Art School with a diploma and certificate in makeup and fashion. Subsequently, she attended the United Kingdom’s Metropolitan School of Business and Management and graduated with a specialized executive master’s diploma in Leadership and Management. Life Outside of Work

Tana Adelana just married her long-time boyfriend, Femi Adelana. They’ve been dating for 14 years, and they finally got married on September 11, 2007. Now that they’ve settled down, the couple already has two young children.

The actress said she didn’t have a certain plan for meeting Mr. Right, but she did wind up marrying a decent guy who really likes her. She has a reputation for keeping her private life private and has managed to keep her marriage free of controversy for many years.

Career

After entering an audition for the MTN Y’Hello TV Show in 2002, Tana became a well-known OAP in the business.
