American rapper, Cardi B, has deleted her official verified Twitter and Instagram account shortly after she had a feud with her fans who dragged her for not attending the 64th Grammy Award show on Sunday in Las Vegas.
On Sunday evening, Cardi and some of her fans clashed on social media because she didn’t attend the Grammys.
They attached her simultaneously and escalated the promise she gave them about releasing a new album.
A fan tweeted that she does not take her fans seriously anymore by saying…
“My thing is, why hype us up if you know [you’re] not going from the jump? [Cardi B] needs to take her fans more seriously this is getting ridiculous, I’m sorry.”
Replying to this, Cardi B debunked ever hyping her fans, she revealed that she won’t go to the award show without new music.
In her words, she wrote:
“When did I hype y’all up? Where and when did I ever hints? Like are you okay? I’m not going to award show if I don’t got a new song to perform Or my album ain’t out.”
Another fan continued blaming her for not appearing for them to see their fave
The fan wrote:
“You literally could’ve said that, as fans that barely get fed WE WANT TO SEE YOU what do you expect, you could’ve said something period.”
Cardi B replied to the fan saying that any fan who wants to see her should come to her house.
She wrote:
“Unmmmmm wtf you want me to say I been posting on my IG stories where I been at … like clearly I’m in my house and I’m in NY the f***k.”
Another fan hit back at Cardi B, telling her that she’s no longer serious about her music career.
The fan wrote:
“Your job is literally music and it’s just like you don’t care about it anymore you’ve been saying you have an album on the way since 2019 girl pleaseeeee.”
Some of her fans started including her children in the bashing spree and that was when she tweeted, that she was deleting her account on the social media platform.
In her tweet, she wrote:
“I’m deleting my Twitter but On God, I hate this f**kin dumbass fan base. You got the slow dumbasses dragging my kids all cause y’all [thought] I was going to the Grammys and I didn’t the f**k? When the f*ck I hinted I was going? just fuvcking stupid I can’t I need to protect myself”

Shortly after sharing the aforementioned tweet, the rapper deleted the tweet and terminated her Twitter account.
Shortly after deleting her Twitter account, she went live via her verified Instagram account to enumerate why she embarked on the awful decision.
In her words, she unearthed:
“Do I have any new music. Why would I show up with one nomination? And I lost it anyways, so you wanted me to go to the Grammys, lose an award and me just be there smiling like, ‘That’s great, that’s great.’ Like, come on now my n—a. Come on now. I don’t like that sh*t.”
After unveiling why she deleted her Twitter handle during the Instagram live video, she deleted her Instagram account.
