Seun Kuti: Wizkid does not deserve to be named a Grammy nominee.

Seun Kuti, an afrobeat singer, and social media activist may have started a feud with Wizkid, based on his Instagram video post on Tuesday and the reaction to it.

Seun Kuti stunned many internet users on Tuesday when he posted a brief Instagram video in which he impliedly challenged Wizkid to quit claiming to be a Grammy candidate, while also saying that he, Femi Kuti, Burna Boy, and King Sunny Ade were the only Nigerian musicians to be nominated. He further said that while Wizkid was featured on a Grammy-winning song, he had no right to say that Nigeria had won a Grammy because the music belonged to Beyonce.

Only four Nigerian musicians have ever been nominated for a Grammy, and I am one of them,” he continued, just underneath the video clip.

As predicted, such a message elicited responses and rumored Wizkid admirers wasted no time in letting him know how they felt. Here are some of the fans’ reactions.
