Federal Government of Nigeria has failed to meet at an agreement with Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU as ASUU  decides to extended its warning strike for another two months.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has failed to meet at an agreement with the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU triggering ASUU  to extend its warning strike to another two months.

Recall we reported that the Academic Staff Union of Universities embarked on one monthly warning strike to enforce FG to pay them off their archaic salaries.

The decision to extend the strike to two months was taken at the union’s National Executive Council, NEC meeting held in Abuja last night.

The union made this public statement via their Twitter handle regarding the outcome of the meeting.

This has been also confirmed by Vanguard, Vanguard announced that members resolved the aforementioned information at the meeting held in an undisclosed location.

The outcome of the meeting, the source said, was being drafted to be released in a statement to the media soon.
