Popular American rapper, Tione Jayden Merritt, professionally known as Lil Tjay has undergone successful emergency surgery after being shot multiple times in Edgewater, New Jersey, United States.
This was confirmed by TMZ which reported that Law enforcement sources unleashed that the rapper was shot just after midnight in Edgewater, NJ.

TMZ confirmed that there were 2 shooting sites — one at a Chipotle Restaurant and another at a nearby Exxon Gas station in America.
Though names were not given, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Edgewater Police Department both shared a short statement Wednesday morning, seemingly about the same incident.
However, corresponding reports affirmed that the ‘In My Head’ crooner successfully made it out of the theatre but he’s been monitored by doctors.
