Popular Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye, otherwise known as Mr. P, has lambasted a troll who attacked him on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter.

The singer, who recently reconciled with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, after a long-time loggerhead, had taken to Twitter to gush over an unnamed person on Thursday, August 11.

He tweeted,

“I knew I loved you before I met you😍”

However, the troll grabbed the opportunity to slam the singer and called him a ‘village boy’, but his words in the tweet were disorganized.

The Twitter user wrote,

“Typical village boy turn to celebrities, so for that , that is why you are always condemning good did if the government.. We while you hide one side…..”

Appalled by the troll’s comment, Peter mocked him for his grammatical error and advised him to tweet in his local language instead of trying hard to write in English.

“RIP English! Pls type in your language next time! 🤮🤮🤮”
