Popular Nollywood stars, Yul Edochie, Femi Adebayo, and others have showered praises on their colleague, veteran actor, Olu Jacobs, ahead of his 80th birthday.

Olu Jacobs, who will clock 80 on the 11th of July, 2022, is a seasoned thespian who has starred in numerous Nigerian and British drama series and movies.

His wife and fellow veteran actress, Joke Silva, had hinted at his 80th birthday celebration on her Instagram page when she shared a throwback picture of her husband.

She captioned the photo on Monday,

“Who has the foggiest idea who this handsome young man is? #80th birthday loading.”

Actor and politician, Yul Edochie wrote:

“When I started my acting career in 2005, one of my biggest wishes was to be on set with the Legendary Uncle Olu Jacobs. I finally got that opportunity many times and I learnt so much from him. And I’ll forever be grateful.
