In February 2024, Davido announced a donation of N300 million through his foundation, the David Adeleke Foundation, DAF, to orphanages across the country. According to the available information, the fund will be available for the total number of eligible children: 13,936 children, with 1,688 deemed eligible to benefit from the funds.
Likewise, the allocation is set to benefit a total of 427 eligible orphanage homes, which translates to an average of N19.733 per eligible child.
