Arshdeep Singh is a famous Indian cricketer born on February 5, 1999. He plays for Punjab and Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League, the top level of Indian domestic cricket.
In cricket competitions around the world, he represents India. Singh bowls with his left arm using a medium speed and bats with his left hand in the lower order.
In July of 2022, he first appeared on the international stage for the Indian squad in a Twenty20 International against England. Singh is known for his death over bowling, in which he utilizes yorkers, and he primarily plays as a medium-fast bowler.

Arshdeep Sigh was born into a Sikh household in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, to parents Darshan Singh and Baljit Kaur. His father served in the Central Industrial Security Force at birth (CISF).
His father spent more than 25 years working for the Canadian Imperial Security Force. After some time, Singh’s family moved to Kharar, located close to Chandigarh, where Singh currently resides with his family. Presently, Darshan Singh is serving as the chief of security for Groz Beckert Asia, located within the Industrial Area of Chandigarh.
In 2015, he enrolled in Jaswant Rai’s cricket academy in Chandigarh after getting his start in the sport by playing gully cricket with the guys from the area.
Career
As of October 5, 2022, Arshdeep Singh has competed in Twenty20 Internationals for the Indian men’s national cricket team and the India Under-19 and India Under-23 teams, Punjab and the Punjab Kings.
On September 19, 2018, Singh made his debut in List A for the Punjab team, competing in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Before making his debut in the List A competition, he was selected to play for India in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2018.
During the player auction for the 2019 Indian Premier League season, which took place in December 2018, he was acquired by Kings XI Punjab. On April 16, 2019, he made his first appearance for Kings XI Punjab in the Twenty20 2019 Indian Premier League competition.
He concluded the game with the second-highest number of wickets taken by the squad and has been praised for his outstanding play.
In November 2019, he was selected to represent India in the 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Bangladesh. The tournament will take place in Bangladesh. On December 25, 2019, he made his debut for Punjab in the first-class competition of the Ranji Trophy for 2019–20.
In June of 2021, it was announced that he would be traveling to Sri Lanka with the Indian team as one of five net bowlers.
Singh was added to India’s main squad for their final two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches of the tour when it was determined that the Indian team did not have a case of COVID-19.
In May 2022, India announced that Singh would be part of their Twenty20 International squad to compete against South Africa. The following month, he was selected to play for India in a Twenty20 International against Ireland and was part of the squad.
While India was touring England in June 2022, Singh was selected for the One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) teams.
He was included in India’s One-Day International (ODI) squad one more in July 2022, this time for their away series against the West Indies.
On July 7, 2022, he made his first appearance for India in a Twenty20 International match against England. In the series that took place in 2022 between West Indies and his team, he finished with seven wickets and a bowling average of 16.14, earning him the title of player of the series.
On August 8, 2022, he was given a spot on India’s team that would compete in the Asia Cup.
