A number of prominent figures in the Nigerian music industry, such as Olamide, Davido, Wizkid, Adekunle Gold, and Burna Boy, were recognized with individual prizes at the 2022 Headies.

The Headies Award Show for 2022 was held in Atlanta, which is located in the United States of America.

The award for best rap album of the year went to Olamide Gbenga Adedeji’s Carpe Diem. Olamide is a well-known rapper from Nigeria.

Daniel Benson, better known in the music industry by his stage name Buju, Bnxn, was named the winner of the Headies’ Next Rated Award.

You may remember that the singer has been nominated in the past alongside Ayra Starr, Zinoleesky, Lojay, and Ruger.
