Kayz Adams brings Ndine Emma and Dizo West together on “Delilah,” sitting as track six on his debut album “Witina.”
Named after the biblical figure known for deceiving Samson, the song uses that reference loosely. Kayz Adams, Ndine Emma, and Dizo West describe a woman who’s beautiful but manipulative, leaving heartbreak behind her wherever she goes. Also, the record mixes romance with humour, turning something historically heavy into a lighter, modern relationship story.
This isn’t the first time these three have shared studio space either. Kayz Adams and Ndine Emma already worked together on “Dzaddy” and “Ni Life Chabe,” while Kayz Adams and Dizo West previously linked up on “Ninkumbu.” That shared history shows in how naturally all three voices trade the storytelling responsibilities throughout “Delilah.”
Ndine Emma’s comedic delivery style, familiar from records like “Dzaddy,” adds real personality to the collaboration. Dizo West balances that energy with his own grounded rap presence, and Kayz Adams ties both performances together with smooth, melodic vocals.
Sitting toward the back half of “Witina,” an eight-track project centred on courage and overcoming fear, “Delilah” adds a lighter, storytelling-driven moment within a much bigger body of work.
